Chemical Calisthenics

Faux editorial illustration for Rolling Stone Magazine. I chose the artists, Blackalicious. The theme I played off of was one of their tracks, "Chemical Calisthenics." Tape transfers and acrylic paint on prepared surface.

"Blue Magic"


The assignment was to take a color from a song and create a painting based on the content lyrically within the song. I choose Jay's "Blue Magic", kept it pretty literal but I like the vibe. Acrylic on board and the text and cards were tape transferred.

Pastel drawing on toned paper for a faux Purina dog food advertisement.

Don't Tread On Me



Caricature piece I did for Dr. Major General Joseph Warren. The original piece is done in pastel on toned paper which then i scanned and printed and transferred to a prepared surface of a manifesto that the Major General had written which was one of the documents which sparked the American Revolution.

Cloning pieces I did for Experimental Illustration. Marker transfers, acrylic, and hot glue. The first piece has no hot glue.
